The Danteshwari temple management has announced a new initiative. The temple’s temple estate committee has decided to issue 10 gram silver coins of Maa Danteshwari. The silver coins will have a picture of Maa Danteshwari on one side and the temple on the other. It is known that devotees offer cash and gold-silver ornaments in the donation boxes of Maa Danteshwari temple. The cash amount is deposited in the bank account by the temple estate committee, while the gold-silver ornaments are deposited in the government treasury.
36 Kg Silver Deposit (Maa Danteshwari Temple)
According to the information received from the temple management Temple Estate Committee, 36 kg of silver has been deposited in the temple treasury so far, and there is a shortage of space to store it. In view of this situation, the temple committee has decided to use the silver received as donation in the manufacture of coins. This initiative will not only consume the donated silver but will also generate additional income. At the same time, the amount of coins purchased by the devotees will be deposited in the bank account of the temple management Temple Estate Committee.

SDM Jayant Nahta, ex-officio secretary of Maa Danteshwari Mandir Temple Estate Committee, said that in the first phase, the Temple Estate Committee will make coins of 10 grams each from 10 kg silver. Devotees will be able to buy these coins at a fixed price and keep them with them as a souvenir or memorabilia. He said that information about the availability of coins will be given soon.
