The court ordered the state government to ensure constant monitoring of the law and order situation in the entire state so that the common citizens can live in peace. The next hearing of the case will be on October 21.

Let us tell you that during the hearing today, the bench of Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha mentioned a serious incident that happened in Bhilai recently. Where a person had requested against playing DJ at high volume, which was ignored. Saddened by this situation, he committed suicide. The Chief Justice said that DJ should be allowed to play at the same volume as speakers and sound boxes are allowed to play.

During the hearing of the case, the bench commented on the awareness of citizens towards their rights and expressed concern over the lack of responsibility towards their duties. The bench said that here citizens are aware of their rights but they do not seem to be responsible for their duties. In the name of celebrating the festival, some people are consuming drugs and behaving indecently.

During the hearing, the bench of Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha said that if DJ is played at high volume, then the studies of students will be affected and incidents like suicide can also happen. Who will take responsibility for all this? During the hearing, Bilaspur SP presented an affidavit and the Advocate General said that positive steps are being taken to keep the sound system at the permissible volume.
