In fact, Gurushree Minerals has a dolomite mine in Chhita Pandaria village of Sakti district, for which permission was taken from the Mineral Department till the year 2041. But the mine operator was preparing to fill the mine with gravel by extracting more than 30 lakh tonnes of stone in just 5-6 years, about which the land owner Raghuveer Singh had complained to the officials.
Raghuveer Singh said that after his complaint, the officials of the Mineral Department completed the investigation process secretly without informing him, and the investigation report was prepared in favor of Gurushree Minerals. The report shows 10 to 12 lakh tons less excavation. The land owner alleged that if the investigation was done properly, then along with 10 to 12 lakh tons of illegal excavation, a case of royalty theft of more than Rs 50 crore would have been made.

During the investigation in front of the complainant, only the team of the Revenue Department was seen, the officials of the Mineral Department were absent. After measuring the length and breadth of the mine, the earlier investigation report done by the Mineral Department is now proving to be wrong, while the officials of the Mineral Department are also seen getting trapped in the matter of issuing royalty on a mine that has been closed for 3 years.

On Thursday, RI Sabbir Mandale, in-charge of the Revenue Department, who visited the dolomite mine of Gurushree Minerals in Chhitapandaria for investigation, said that the length and breadth of the mine has been measured. The depth could not be measured because the mine is filled with water. The villagers said that the mine has been closed for the last 3 years. The investigation report will be submitted to the Bhothian Tehsildar.
