Raipur. Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai is on a Delhi tour today, where he will meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Chief Minister Sai will attend an important meeting organized by Union Home Minister Amit Shah along with Chief Ministers, Chief Secretaries (CS), DGP and other high officials of 10 Naxal-affected states. In this meeting, there will be a comprehensive discussion on eradication of Naxal problem and other issues related to it.
Grand military ceremony concludes today
The grand military ceremony organized at the Science College grounds of Raipur will conclude today. Governor Ramen Deka will attend the closing ceremony, while the program will be presided over by Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao. In this ceremony, indomitable courage and amazing feats are being shown by the army soldiers, due to which a lot of enthusiasm is being seen in the audience. People from different areas of the state are coming to Exhibition Deccan. MP Brijmohan Aggarwal, MLA Rajesh Munat, Guru Khushwant Saheb, Purandar Mishra, Motilal Sahu, Inder Kumar Sahu and MLA Anuj Sharma will also be present as special guests at the function. The military ceremony program will start at 8 am.
Shankaracharya today in Raipur
Jyotishpeeth’s Jagadguru Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati is reaching the capital Raipur on Monday to establish Godhwaj. After establishing Godhwaj in Odisha’s capital Bhubaneswar, he will reach Shankaracharya Ashram Boriyakala today by road. During his short stay, he will install Godhwaj in the afternoon at Srikaushalya Vihar Shankaracharya Chowk.
Dr. Raman Singh on visit to Balodabazar district today
Former Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh and current Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh will be on a tour of Balodabazar district. Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Cabinet Minister Tankaram Verma and MP Brijmohan Aggarwal will also be present with him. All the leaders will inaugurate the new building of Chanda Devi Multispeciality Hospital located in Balodabazar. The program will be held at 12 noon, where they will reach by helicopter. After the inauguration ceremony, Dr. Raman Singh will leave for Janjgir district.
Dussehra holidays in schools from today
Dussehra holidays in schools of Chhattisgarh will start from October 7. An order in this regard has already been issued by the School Education Department. Dussehra holiday will be from October 7 to October 12, and after this, children will get one more day off since October 13 is a Sunday. Thus, students will return to school on October 14. Even on the occasion of Diwali, students will get 6 days leave, which will start from October 28 and continue till November 2. Since November 3 is a Sunday, schools will reopen from November 4.
