Police-Naxalite encounter: Soldiers killed a Naxalite, weapon recovered

Shiva Yadav, Sukma. Another encounter has taken place between police and Naxalites (Police-Naxalite encounter) in Naxal-affected Sukma district of Chhattisgarh. This encounter took place in the forest-hills of village Pamalur of Bhejji police station area, in which the soldiers killed a Naxalite. The body of the slain Naxalite has been recovered, which is being identified.

According to the information, on the information about the presence of Naxalites Konta and Kistaram Area Committee members under Bhejji police station area, a joint party of DRG, Bastar Fighter, 206 Cobra, 208 Cobra, 131 CRPF and 212 CRPF reached villages Dabbakonta, Antapad Burkalanka, Pamlur, Singhanamadgu and surrounding areas. Had left for the nearby area for operation. During the operation, a police-Naxalite encounter took place in the forest-hill of village Pamalur last evening. In this encounter, the body and weapons of a male Naxalite have been recovered from the incident site. The process of identification of the body of the Naxalite killed in the encounter is being done.

Let us tell you that this encounter has taken place at a time when recently security forces had killed 31 Maoists in Dantewada-Narayanpur border area, which is considered to be the biggest Naxal operation in the country.
