Satyapal Rajput, Raipur. United Doctors Front Association today met Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and submitted a memorandum regarding its 4-point demands. The association alleges that MBBS pass outs of AIIMS Raipur are being given admission in NEET PG against the rules and has demanded a ban on this. Meanwhile, UDFA Chhattisgarh President Dr. Heera said that after listening to our demands, the Chief Minister has assured to take appropriate action.
Memorandum submitted regarding these demands
1. Mistake or error:
There are approximately 535 doctors in the Bonded Doctors Batch 2018. Those who get Rs 14850 less than the basic pay (69850) i.e. Rs 55000 (due to a clerical error). To remove the discrepancy in their salary, they should be given increased salary (69850) for the year 2023.
2. Games in Counselling:
In NEET PG counselling, 50% seats of the state quota, on which the natives of Chhattisgarh are entitled, are being given admission to MBBS doctors passed out from AIIMS Raipur. Terming this wrong, he said that only candidates from the state should be given admission in this state quota seat. Only those who pass out from AIIMS should be made eligible for All India quota.
3. PG duration increased but not leave:
Regular, permanent medical officers, doctors who are working in MD, MS, DM, MCh in the third year without salary, their study leave should be increased from 2 years to 3 years paid leave, so that they can get salary in the last year also. So to receive.
4. We are also humans, not machines
PG residents, who are on duty 24/36 hours, should be given leave after 24 hours duty and one day off in a week. He said that due to continuous work we also get tired mentally and physically. Which proves fatal in serving patients.
