The government will consider this report and take a decision soon. Whereas former minister Congress leader Shiv Dahria has accused BJP of taking political advantage. He said, it is not practical to hold both the elections simultaneously.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao said, there is talk of One Nation One Election in the entire country. We are trying to save both money and time, so that municipal and panchayat elections should be held simultaneously. The committee’s report has reached the government. A decision on this will be taken soon.

He said, preparations are being made to hold simultaneous elections to benefit BJP in the urban body and panchayat elections. BJP tries to take political advantage everywhere.
