Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai paid homage to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birthday.

Raipur, December 24, 2024/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai paid homage to former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna, late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his birthday on December 25. He said that December 25 is the birth centenary of the former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Bharat Ratna and the maker of Chhattisgarh state. Atal Ji always had a cordial affection for Chhattisgarh and its people. Recalling Atal Ji’s role in the formation of Chhattisgarh state, he said that former Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, respecting the sentiments of the people of Chhattisgarh, formed the state of Chhattisgarh with the aim of developing Chhattisgarh and the prosperity of its people. The state government is working very fast towards fulfilling Atal Ji’s dreams. Chhattisgarh has entered its 25th year of establishment. We have decided to celebrate this Silver Jubilee year as “Atal Nirman Year” in memory of Atal Ji, under which infrastructure development works in the state will be given priority.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Atal Ji was a skilled politician, an eloquent speaker, and a poet with a simple heart. Atal Ji’s birthday is celebrated as ‘Good Governance Day’ in his memory. Atal Ji’s dream was a strong, prosperous, and happy India. Realizing that dream, Chhattisgarh is today setting new dimensions in the fields of education, health, infrastructure, and social welfare. He said that on the occasion of Good Governance Day, we all should be determined to contribute to the development of Chhattisgarh by following the path shown by Atal Ji and participate in fulfilling Atal Ji’s dream of a golden India.
