Applications Will Be Received From the Public in Gram Panchayats and Urban Bodies From April 8th to 11th

Raipur, April 8, 2025/Under the guidance of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, the state-wide launch of the Good Governance Festival has commenced today, April 8th, to address the problems of the public and meet them directly. This Good Governance Festival, to be held in three phases, will continue until May 31st. In the first phase, from April 8th to April 11th, applications are being received directly from the general public in the offices of Gram Panchayats and urban bodies. There is tremendous enthusiasm among the people regarding the Good Governance Festival, and people are submitting applications related to their problems by depositing them in the solution boxes installed in the Gram Panchayat and Nagar Panchayat offices.

Officers and employees have also been assigned duties in the offices of Gram Panchayats and urban bodies to help people fill out applications related to their problems, so that people do not face any difficulty in submitting their applications. Under the Good Governance Festival, there is also a provision to receive applications through the online application portal and Common Service Centers. Solution boxes have also been placed in development blocks and district headquarters to receive applications, where people are submitting applications regarding their problems.

It is noteworthy that the Government of Chhattisgarh is continuously making efforts for good governance and transparency. In this series, the organization of Good Governance Festival-2025 is an important initiative. Under Good Governance Festival-2025, all the applications received will be entered into the software and handed over to the concerned departments, and their resolution will be ensured within a month.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has said that the objective of Good Governance Festival 2025 is to provide effective and quick solutions to the problems of the general public, transparency in government works, and to establish direct communication with the public. Chief Minister Shri Sai had already instructed all District Collectors to ensure the systematic organization of the Good Governance Festival and the prompt resolution of applications received under it. He said that the status and quality of resolution at the state and district levels will also be reviewed.

In the third phase of the Good Governance Festival, solution camps will be organized in the middle of 8 to 15 Gram Panchayats in each district. Camps will also be organized in urban bodies as needed. In the camps, the public will be informed about the status of their applications, and the applications will be resolved quickly there as far as possible. The remaining problems will be resolved within a month and information will be provided.

Information about public welfare schemes will be given in the solution camps, and application forms for beneficiary-oriented schemes will also be made available. The active participation of MPs, MLAs and other public representatives is being ensured in this campaign. The Chief Minister, Ministers, Chief Secretary, Secretary-in-charge and senior officers will themselves be present in the camps to interact with the general public, and take feedback on the benefits being received from development works and schemes.
