Maruti Suzuki’s Hybrid and EV Push: What’s Coming Next?

Maruti Suzuki is planning an aggressive launch strategy, focusing on EVs and hybrid vehicles. The brand is also preparing to introduce a range of new cars. Potential launches include a compact MPV or micro-SUV, possibly featuring a hybrid powertrain, and a refreshed Wagon R. The EWX concept, a small SUV-like EV, is another contender. The Fronx Hybrid is expected soon, with testing already underway, though the type of hybrid system remains unconfirmed. Suzuki has the option of using a 1-liter turbocharged or a 1.2-liter NA engine for the hybrid setup. Moreover, a new 5-seater SUV designed to compete with the KIA Sonet is also in development, expected to include hybrid technology.
