Following the Pahalgam incident, the tourism sector in Kashmir is uniting to regain its footing through the ‘Rally for Valley’ campaign. The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) has initiated a nationwide effort to counter fear and encourage tourist visits to the region. TAAI President Sunil Kumar, along with a delegation of travel company heads, is emphasizing the association’s dedication to Kashmir. The Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) is also playing a crucial role, with a major meeting planned in Srinagar and Pahalgam to bolster confidence. The campaign addresses the need to overcome the negative impact of recent events and underscores the significance of tourism for the livelihoods of many in Kashmir, urging authorities to prioritize tourist safety.
