Patna Police Officer Killed, Two Injured After SUV with BJP Flag Plows Through Checkpoint

Tragedy struck in Patna when a Scorpio SUV with a BJP flag ran over police officers at a checkpoint, resulting in the death of a female constable and injuries to two others. The incident occurred during a late-night vehicle inspection on Atal Path. As the police were carrying out their duties, a Scorpio car displaying a BJP flag approached. The driver ignored police instructions to stop and instead drove the vehicle directly into the officers. The impact caused chaos, leaving SI Deepak Mani, ASI Awadhesh Kumar, and Constable Komal injured. Constable Komal was pronounced dead at the hospital. The SI and ASI are receiving medical attention for their injuries. The driver attempted to escape after the collision but crashed the vehicle. Police officials, including Patna SSP Avakash Kumar, responded to the scene and arrested two individuals in connection with the incident.
