Following the tragic crash of Air India flight AI-171 in Ahmedabad, Boeing has stated it is in contact with the airline. The flight, destined for London’s Gatwick airport, went down shortly after departing from Ahmedabad-Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. The aircraft, a Boeing Dreamliner 787, was carrying a total of 242 passengers and crew. The incident has prompted expressions of concern and offers of assistance from Boeing, with the company stating its support for Air India. The FAA is working with the NTSB on the matter. Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his sorrow over the accident and assured assistance to those impacted.
