The survival of Vishwas Kumar Ramesh from the Ahmedabad plane crash has brought attention to seat 11A. The seat, often avoided by passengers, may have been pivotal in saving his life. The central location of seats like 11A and 11F, placing passengers in the middle of the plane, often makes them undesirable due to delayed deplaning. These seats can also have limited views or no windows. Ramesh, a British citizen, was traveling with his brother when the Boeing 787 Dreamliner crashed. He described the horrific scene after the crash, surrounded by bodies. The Air India flight AI-171, carrying 242 people, including crew, crashed shortly after takeoff, resulting in 241 fatalities. The plane struck the BJ Medical College and Hospital. Ramesh, the only survivor, is receiving treatment at Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad. Initial investigations into the cause of the crash include possibilities such as engine failure or a bird strike. The Dreamliner is generally regarded as a safe aircraft.
