Sigma’s New 17-40mm F1.8 DC | Art Lens: A Compact, Lightweight, and Versatile Zoom

The new Sigma 17-40mm F1.8 DC | Art lens is designed for creative professionals. This lens provides a constant F1.8 aperture across the zoom range, enabling exceptional performance in low-light conditions and creating a beautiful background bokeh. Featuring advanced aspherical elements, the lens is both powerful and portable, weighing over 30 percent less than its predecessor and utilizing a 67mm filter thread. An inner zoom mechanism maintains a constant length, making it ideal for use with gimbals and tripods. The lens will be available from July 10, 2025, in L-Mount, Sony E-mount and Fujifilm X mounts, with the Canon RF mount version following in August.
