A woman’s death in Bokaro’s Phusro area is under investigation, with her family accusing the in-laws of murder. Lalita Devi was found dead at her in-laws’ residence in suspicious circumstances. The in-laws claim she took her own life, but her brother, Tej Lal Thakur, alleges that she was murdered. Police from Petarwar, Kasmar, and Jaridih police stations responded to the scene after receiving information about the incident. The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of death. The deceased’s family has demanded that the authorities take action against the in-laws, claiming they are responsible for her death. The police have assured them that action will be taken against those found guilty. The incident took place in the area near the Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir School. Police are awaiting the post-mortem report to ascertain whether it was a case of homicide or suicide. After the family of the deceased arrived at the scene, a dispute took place. The in-laws subsequently disappeared from the site.
