Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, representing ISRO, is preparing for his return from the International Space Station (ISS) as part of the Axiom-4 mission (Ax-4). After nearly 18 days in space, Shukla and his crew will undock on Monday and splash down in the Pacific Ocean on Tuesday. Shukla quoted Rakesh Sharma’s famous words, expressing that India looks remarkable from space, highlighting its ambition, fearlessness, confidence, and pride. The mission, a collaboration between ISRO, NASA, Axiom Space, and SpaceX, involved research and outreach activities. The returning Dragon spacecraft is bringing back over 580 pounds of cargo, including scientific data and hardware. The mission was launched on June 25th, with the spacecraft docking with the ISS on June 26th.
