A disturbing case of infidelity and murder has emerged from Samastipur, Bihar, shattering the conventional notions of marital vows. A woman, defying the sanctity of her marriage, engaged in an affair with her children’s tutor. When her husband discovered their relationship, a tragic turn of events unfolded, culminating in the husband’s murder and disposal of his body.
The police investigation led to the arrest of the woman and her lover. The incident took place in the Lagunia Raghukant area. The victim, 30-year-old Sonu Kumar, was a hardworking auto driver, dedicated to supporting his wife, Smita, and their two children.
Unbeknownst to Sonu, his wife, Smita, was involved in an affair with Hariom Kumar, the tutor hired to teach their children. The affair began subtly and escalated over time. The situation came to a head when Sonu caught them together. This discovery sparked intense conflict within the household.
According to Sonu’s father, Tuntun Jha, Sonu returned home late one night. The next morning, his lifeless body was discovered. The police, acting on Tuntun’s complaint, arrested Smita. The investigation revealed previous marital discord, including a local panchayat intervention and the signing of a bond paper.
