Windows 11 users can anticipate a wave of new AI features from Microsoft, spearheaded by Copilot. The Copilot Vision tool will let users analyze content visible on their screen, eliminating the need for external tools for image capture. These features will roll out progressively, with some exclusive to Copilot Plus PCs. Copilot Vision will be accessible through the Copilot app, allowing users to query on-screen content. Besides this, users can perform specific tasks on their PCs, such as photo editing directly through Copilot. A Microsoft-commissioned report showcases that around 60% of users are using generative AI for work and business, and 64% for personal interests. Microsoft aims to streamline user experience by integrating AI into the Windows environment. Owners of Snapdragon-powered Copilot Plus PCs can access the AI agent via the Settings app. The “Click to Do” feature, available on Copilot Plus PCs, enables actions like text summarization and pronunciation assistance. New additions include an AI-powered sticker generator in Paint, an object selection tool, an AI lighting feature in Photos, and a perfect screenshot tool using AI.
