Akhal Operation Claims Lives of Two Soldiers, Prolongs to Nine Days

A fierce gun battle in the Akhal forest of Kulgam, South Kashmir, has tragically resulted in the deaths of two Indian Army soldiers. The operation against terrorists has extended into its ninth day, marking it as one of the most protracted anti-terror engagements in the region. The ongoing operation has also left two soldiers injured, adding to the eleven security personnel already injured. The challenging terrain continues to pose difficulties to the security forces.
