Windows 11 users can anticipate a wave of new AI features from Microsoft, primarily accessible through Copilot. A key addition is the Copilot Vision tool, which allows users to have the AI scan their screen and analyze its contents. Users can then pose questions about what’s displayed, and the AI can perform actions on screen, like enhancing an image. The updates also include tools exclusively for Copilot Plus PCs. Microsoft’s report reveals the growing use of generative AI across work, hobbies, and personal interests. Beyond Copilot Vision, other updates are planned such as an AI-powered sticker generator in Paint, an object select tool, a new AI lighting option in Photos, and a perfect screenshot tool. These features will roll out starting in August, alongside non-AI updates, including a color picker in the Snipping Tool. The features aim to make using Windows 11 easier for users with the latest AI integration.
