During a recent podcast, Hastings recounted the incident. The conversation, held on the ‘Willow Talk’ podcast alongside former Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Brad Haddin, recalled a party thrown by Yuvraj Singh. This event took place during the 2011 World Cup, when all teams, including Australia, were in India. Prior to the tournament’s start, a practice match was held between India and Australia, with Hastings participating in the match at Bengaluru’s M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
