On the occasion of Independence Day 2025, Mahindra and Ola are preparing to launch electric scooters, SUVs, and innovative technologies, including futuristic designs, AI features, and EV platforms. Ola will launch a new sports scooter on August 15, 2025, during the Sankalp 2025 event at its Gigafactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. The company aims to expand its portfolio with this sporty model, which is hinted at by a teaser featuring a grab rail and a single-piece flat seat. Ola Electric has announced the MoveOS 6 software update for its electric two-wheelers, which is set to be released before Sankalp 2025. This update may incorporate features such as an AI chatbot, a voice assistant, and predictive services. Also, Ola Electric has teased its Diamond Head motorcycle under the Moonshot project, to be unveiled at the Sankalp 2025 event on August 15, 2025. The company will also share its product and technology roadmap, highlighting its “India Inside” vision for electric vehicles. Mahindra will reveal the Vision T concept SUV at the Freedom_NU event in Mumbai on August 15, 2025. The teaser suggests that the Vision T is close to the production version of the Thar electric SUV, featuring a squared bonnet, powerful wheel arches, and all-terrain tires, built on the INGLO platform with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. Vision S and Vision SXT concept models will also be shown at the Freedom_NU event. Vision S, possibly an electric pickup truck based on the Scorpio N, and Vision SXT, which could be a pickup truck based on the Scorpio N. The teaser reveals strong off-road design elements, including a boxy design with flared wheel arches and a clamshell hood.
