This version introduces a six-seater configuration, designed to enhance interior space. This strategic move is intended to bolster Tesla’s market presence and sales within China. The extended range capabilities are also expected to be a key selling point for families seeking an electric vehicle.

The exterior showcases design enhancements, including a streamlined roofline, a larger quarter glass for improved visibility, new 19-inch alloy wheels, a black rear spoiler for enhanced aerodynamics, and a unique ‘Model YYY’ badge. A Starlight Gold paint scheme is also available.
Inside the cabin, the updated design now features a 2+2+2 seating arrangement, which optimizes space and comfort. The Model Y L, offered in the long-range variant, includes dual motors and all-wheel drive.
