RSS Convenes Major Delhi Event; Mohan Bhagwat to Address Attendees

Delhi is hosting a major event organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) from today, continuing until August 28. Mohan Bhagwat, the Sar Sanghchalak (Chief) of the RSS, will be present and is slated to address distinguished individuals from diverse sectors. In other news, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, will be the venue for a three-day ‘Rozgar Mahakumbh-2025’ (Employment Mega-Summit), commencing August 26th, with the aim of generating employment for young people. A Congress Member of Parliament is set to commence a two-day visit to Bihar today. Furthermore, Manoj Jarange, the leader of the Maratha reservation movement, has issued an ultimatum to the Maharashtra government, setting August 26th as the deadline for the allocation of a 10 percent quota for the community under the Other Backward Classes (OBC). Lawyers in Delhi will continue their protest against the Delhi Lieutenant Governor’s August 13th order, refraining from work for the fourth consecutive day. Concurrently, B. Sudarshan Reddy, the India alliance’s nominee for Vice President, is scheduled to travel to Lucknow today to meet with several leaders, including Akhilesh Yadav.
