Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai engaged with the Advanced Technology Center Association (ATCA) delegation in Seoul, South Korea, during his recent visit. The meeting included discussions with ATCA Chairman Lee Jae Jeong and senior officials. ATCA is a prominent industrial network, encompassing over 60 leading companies in sectors like IT, electronics, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and textiles. The association has expressed interest in establishing B2B partnerships with businesses in Chhattisgarh.
CM Sai welcomed the ATCA representatives, emphasizing the Chhattisgarh government’s commitment to fostering a conducive environment for investors. He extended an invitation to Lee Jae Jeong and the accompanying officials to visit Chhattisgarh during their next trip to India, offering them a firsthand view of the state’s investment potential and collaborative prospects.
Highlighting Chhattisgarh’s rapid development, CM Sai cited industry-friendly policies, abundant natural resources, a skilled workforce, and robust infrastructure. He encouraged ATCA companies to invest and form partnerships in emerging sectors such as IT, electronics, semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and textiles. This would generate significant employment opportunities for the state’s youth and invigorate local industries.
Furthermore, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Chhattisgarh Investor Connect program in Seoul, organized in collaboration with the Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICCK). He underscored Chhattisgarh’s vast potential for South Korean companies, noting South Korea’s status as a key destination for Indian steel exports. As a major steel producer, Chhattisgarh is poised to deepen this cooperation and facilitate new investment avenues.
Chief Minister Sai also pointed out Chhattisgarh’s rich mineral resources, crucial for the automobile and electronics industries. The state’s substantial lithium reserves are poised to drive the EV revolution and new-age industries, positioning Chhattisgarh as a potential hub for the global energy transition.
During the event, CM Sai announced the ICCK as a knowledge partner, indicating that the Chhattisgarh Industrial Policy 2024-30 will provide new direction to technology, skilling, and global cooperation. He expressed optimism that the combination of Korean innovation and Chhattisgarh’s resources will usher in a new era of progress.
Additionally, the Chief Minister affirmed the government’s comprehensive support for investors, from single-window clearance to land allocation and streamlined permitting processes. He anticipates that South Korean companies’ engagement will create new opportunities within Chhattisgarh’s industrial sector, elevating the South Korea-India industrial partnership to new heights.
