The Baaghi franchise expands with the release of Baaghi 4, following the success of its predecessors. The film, starring Tiger Shroff and Sanjay Dutt, premiered recently. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by A. Harsha, Baaghi 4 is anticipated to be the most violent installment of the series. The action-packed trailer generated excitement among viewers, especially for Tiger’s performance. The film promises a thrilling showdown between Tiger and Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay Dutt recently spoke about the film in detail.
Besides Tiger and Sanjay, Sonam Bajwa and Harnaaz Sandhu are also in the leading roles. The film is presented as an action-packed thriller with a romantic subplot. When Sanjay Dutt was questioned about his favorite aspect of the film, he shared his views on his character and the film in general.
Sanjay Dutt found similarities to ‘Vaastav’ in ‘Baaghi 4’. Sanjay Dutt shared, “My role in Baaghi 4 is very serious and brutal, and yet, you will have empathy for him when you leave the theater. When I first heard the script, it gave me a feeling I hadn’t experienced since ‘Vaastav’; I haven’t felt that way in a long time.” He also mentioned that he worked hard with Tiger Shroff to prepare for his character.
He elaborated, “For this role, I prepared myself intensely, gaining weight, undergoing rigorous training, and putting in a lot of effort.” Sanjay Dutt indicated that the youthful environment on the set rejuvenated him, making him feel like a new actor. He further commented, “Frankly, Baaghi 4 made me feel like a new actor on set once again. Working with Sajid Nadiadwala always brings a sense of homecoming.”
With Baaghi 4, the action star is looking forward to hitting the target, stating, “Baaghi 4 is going to be special for all of us. We hope the audience will enjoy this film.” Sanjay Dutt’s movie ‘Vaastav’ was released in 1999. In the film, he played the role of a gangster. If Sanjay Dutt gets the same kind of feeling from Baaghi 4 that he got from Vaastav, it will be a very interesting experience for the audience, because that role is a fan favorite.
