A police team in Kishanganj, Bihar, faced a violent confrontation while investigating a theft case. During a raid near Khagda Red Light, the officers were attacked, resulting in injuries to four police personnel. The incident occurred following a theft reported on August 26th, involving the loss of jewelry and cash worth Rs 15 lakh and Rs 60,000, respectively, from the home of Vikas Gupta. The police were attempting to arrest a suspect when the attack happened, with a woman reportedly assaulting officers with a broom and sandals. One woman has been detained, and further investigation is underway.
