With the festive season approaching, Kawasaki is introducing a series of discounts and promotions on select motorcycle models. Starting September 22nd, customers can find substantial savings, with reductions of up to Rs 1.5 lakh on the Versys lineup. These discounts cover various models, spanning the 300cc, 650cc, 1000cc, and 1100cc engine capacities.
The discounts are timed to coincide with the revised GST rates that take effect on September 22nd, which will lead to higher prices. The new policy increases the GST on motorcycles above 350cc to 40%, up from 28%. To address this, Kawasaki is offering attractive benefits to facilitate the sale of its existing inventory.
The Ninja series, a key component of Kawasaki’s brand identity, is included in the promotional offers. The high-performance ZX-10R is available with discounts of up to Rs 1.5 lakh, contingent on the color chosen. Without the discount, the ZX-10R’s ex-showroom price is Rs 18.5 lakh.
Furthermore, the Ninja 1000SX is priced at Rs 13.49 lakh, with Kawasaki offering discounts of approximately Rs 1 lakh as part of its seasonal promotion. Discounts on the Versys adventure tourer models are also available: the Versys 650 offers a Rs 20,000 cashback, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.93 lakh; the Versys 300 has a Rs 25,000 cashback, and an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.8 lakh; and the Versys 1100 has the biggest discount of Rs 1.1 lakh off an ex-showroom price of Rs 12.9 lakh. The Versys 1100 includes features such as cruise control and traction control.
