Following a police investigation in Raipur, a mother and son were arrested for a sophisticated scheme where they swapped fake gold bracelets for real gold. The pair had previously targeted jewelers in Raipur and Bilaspur, successfully obtaining authentic gold through their deceit. The police recovered gold ornaments, cash, and a vehicle linked to the crime, with an estimated value of about 8.5 lakh rupees.
