‘Mirai’s’ Success Gives Hope for Prabhas’ ‘The Raja Saab’

Prabhas’ fans eagerly await his next full-fledged film after his cameo this year and his role in ‘Kalki 2898 AD.’ ‘The Raja Saab’ is planned for a Sankranti 2026 release, facing competition from major films. Meanwhile, Teja Sajja’s ‘Mirai’ has achieved significant success, earning 55 crore worldwide in just two days. The multiple delays of ‘The Raja Saab’ had worried fans, and early previews didn’t impress. Now, the success of ‘Mirai,’ especially its praised VFX, brings optimism to ‘The Raja Saab.’ The VFX team of ‘Mirai’ is also working on ‘The Raja Saab,’ influencing positive perceptions of the film’s visuals. With graphics and CG shots being meticulously crafted, the film, directed by Maruthi, aims for a January 9, 2026 release, with remaining songs to be filmed in October. The initial plan was a December release, but it was pushed back.
