Teja Sajja’s latest film, ‘Mirai,’ has achieved a notable milestone, surpassing Rs 50 crore in theatrical collections. The film, which tells the story of a warrior protecting powerful scriptures, has resonated with audiences despite facing competition. Day four of the film’s release saw a collection of Rs 6 crore, as estimated by Sacnilk, bringing the total to Rs 50.60 crore. ‘Mirai’ features a cast including Manchu Manoj, Ritika Nayak, and Shriya Saran. Teja Sajja revealed that the project was offered to him by director Karthik Ghattamaneni after the success of ‘Hanuman’. The film’s conclusion sets the stage for a sequel, ‘Mirai: Jaithraya,’ and includes a mid-credit scene introducing Rana Daggubati as a potential antagonist in the upcoming film.
