The match witnessed several instances of unsportsmanlike behavior, notably from Pakistan’s Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan. Rauf’s gestures, including a ‘6-0′ hand signal and fighter jet mimicry, drew criticism and were interpreted as taunts. Farhan was also seen engaging in offensive actions. Ten Doeschate mentioned that the Indian team remained focused on their game. He mentioned that the team was proud of how they performed. Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill formed a strong opening partnership, accumulating 105 runs. Gill made 47 and Abhishek scored 74. The Indian team successfully achieved the target of 172 runs set by Pakistan. Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma contributed with match-winning cameos. Ten Doeschate praised Abhishek and Gill for their composure and highlighted the Pakistani bowlers’ sledging tactics. India is slated to play against Bangladesh on Wednesday, September 24, in the Super 4s stage at the Dubai International Stadium.
