The upcoming Xiaomi 17 Pro and Pro Max aim to compete with top-tier smartphones by featuring a distinctive dual-screen design. The Pro models will showcase a full-width secondary display on the rear, adding to their creative capabilities. The Xiaomi 17 Pro includes a rear display with a 904 x 572 px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, with a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. The front display is a 6.3-inch LTPO panel with a 1-120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 3,500 nits, protected by Dragon Crystal Glass. It is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with options for 12GB or 16GB RAM and up to 1TB of storage, plus enhanced cooling. The phone is equipped with a 6,300mAh battery, supporting fast wired and wireless charging, along with reverse charging capabilities. The camera system utilizes a 1/1.28” Light Fusion 950L sensor with a Leica Summilux lens. The Pro Max offers a 6.9-inch display and a 2.9-inch rear display, retaining the primary camera sensor but enhancing the telephoto lens. Both phones are built to IP68 standards for water and dust resistance.
