The inauguration of the 4G network was part of a broader initiative, with over ₹60,000 crore allocated for various development projects, including the expansion of 8 IITs and the opening of a flyover in Sambalpur. Modi lauded the progress of Odisha under the ‘double engine’ government, which is driving rapid growth. He acknowledged the state’s cultural heritage and its commitment to advancement, emphasizing the focus on job creation and reaching every citizen. Modi also highlighted the new avatar of BSNL, celebrating the launch of the indigenous 4G services.
