The launch is scheduled for the BMGE 2025 event, with the electric vehicle (EV) version taking precedence, followed by petrol and diesel models.
Design-wise, the new Sierra is expected to closely mirror the concept model unveiled last year. Key features include a prominent horizontal grille, slim headlights, and a full-width LED light bar. The rear design will incorporate a robust bumper, sleek taillamps, and a roof spoiler, enhancing its aesthetic appeal. The inclusion of a black roof paired with a panoramic sunroof is anticipated, lending the vehicle a distinctive floating roof appearance.
While the precise specifications remain undisclosed, industry experts speculate that the EV variant will leverage a dual-motor setup similar to the Harrier EV, enabling all-wheel drive (AWD) and a range exceeding 500 km. The petrol version might be powered by a new 1.5-liter turbo engine, projected to generate 168 PS of power and 280 Nm of torque. The diesel model is expected to feature a 2.0-liter engine, offering an estimated 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. Transmission options are likely to include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
