Uttar Pradesh ATS Arrests Four in ‘I Love Muhammad’ Case, Citing Plans for Violent Jihad

The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has taken four suspects into custody following the ‘I Love Muhammad’ controversy. The individuals, identified as Akmal Raza, Safeel Salmani (Ali Razvi), Mohd Tausif, and Kasim Ali, were arrested across the state on Monday. The ATS stated that the suspects were plotting to destabilize the government through violent jihad and implement Sharia law. The ATS’s investigation revealed the formation of a Mujahideen Army, influenced by radical Pakistani groups. The suspects are accused of using social media platforms to spread their ideology, gather funds, and acquire weapons. They also planned to target non-Muslim religious figures.
