Cyclone Shakhti, located over the northeast Arabian Sea, is progressing northwest. The cyclone is expected to bring heavy rainfall to Maharashtra on Saturday. Bihar, East Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim are under a heavy to very heavy rainfall alert, with potential for isolated extremely heavy showers. The Northeast, Central India, and portions of South India are also likely to experience heavy rain and thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning and gusty winds over the next 24 hours. Delhi’s forecast indicates a partly cloudy sky for the next two days, with the possibility of light rain, thunderstorms, and lightning on October 5th. The anticipated temperature range for Delhi is between 22-24°C (minimum) and 34-36°C (maximum).
