As Bihar approaches its election, the political landscape is buzzing with activity. The BJP is actively holding meetings to finalize the seat-sharing arrangement within the NDA. Dharmendra Pradhan, the BJP’s election in-charge, along with Vinod Tawde and Samrat Chaudhary, met with Jitan Ram Manjhi. Manjhi’s party is seeking 18 to 20 seats. The purpose of the meeting was to negotiate and potentially appease Manjhi regarding the seat distribution. Sources suggest that Manjhi remains unsatisfied. The focus of the meeting is on finalizing the strategy for seat allocation in the upcoming Bihar elections. The BJP aims to clarify its strategy to Manjhi. Discussions will include seats where direct competition or potential collaboration exists between the BJP and its allies. The BJP plans to review the potential seats, organizational strengths, and voter opinions. The Election Commission has indicated that the elections will conclude before November 22nd. The JDU has urged the commission to hold the elections in a single phase immediately after the festival to allow all voters to participate.
