The Election Commission of India (ECI) will hold a press conference at 4 PM today, October 6, to declare the schedule for the upcoming Bihar Legislative Assembly Elections. This announcement comes after a review of poll preparedness conducted in Patna on October 5. The press conference will be attended by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, along with Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi. During their two-day visit to Bihar, the ECI delegation met with enforcement agencies in Patna to ensure fair elections. CEC Gyanesh Kumar stated that the elections will occur before November 22, with 100% webcasting planned for transparency. He also acknowledged the implementation of 17 new election initiatives in Bihar, some of which will be used in election conduct and counting.
