The East Singhbhum district is gearing up for the Ghatshila Assembly by-election, slated for November 11th. A significant step in this preparation was the initial randomization of micro-observers, held on Thursday at the district’s Collectorate hall. Key figures present included General Observer Rakhi Biswas and District Election Officer Karn Satyarthi. The constituency has established 300 polling stations. To ensure meticulous oversight, 36 micro-observers, including six supplementary personnel, were randomly assigned to monitor 30 designated polling locations. This marks the first phase of their allocation; the final assignment to specific polling centers will be finalized on November 9th. District Election Officer Karn Satyarthi highlighted the indispensable function of micro-observers in upholding the integrity, transparency, and tranquility of the electoral process. He mandated strict adherence to all Election Commission protocols for efficient execution.
