In a poignant ceremony, a unique ‘My Stamp’ was unveiled to pay homage to the valor displayed during the Battle of Rezang La. The initiative, tied to the upcoming film ‘120 Bahadur,’ recognizes the unparalleled courage of the Indian Army’s 13th Battalion, Kumaon Regiment. Actor Farhan Akhtar, who plays a lead role in the war drama, shared his pride in the event via social media. He emphasized the significance of this postal commemoration in remembering the sacrifices of fallen soldiers. The Defence Minister graced the launch event in New Delhi, where the customized stamp was officially released. Present alongside Akhtar were key figures from the film’s production, including Ritesh Sidhwani and director Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai. This tribute comes just before the 63rd anniversary of the Battle of Rezang La, a defining chapter in the 1962 India-China war, fought in Ladakh. The film ‘120 Bahadur’ dramatizes the legendary stand led by Major Shaitan Singh Bhati. The movie premieres on November 21, 2025.
