In a heartwarming initiative, Giridih police have returned 313 stolen and lost mobile phones to their grateful owners. The ‘Your Mobile, Your Hand’ scheme culminated in a special ceremony at the New Police Line, bringing an end to the anxiety of many users who had been without their devices. District Superintendent of Police Dr. Vimal Kumar led the handover, personally ensuring that each rightful owner received their Android or smartphone. The excitement was palpable as individuals were reunited with their lost possessions. The SP highlighted the indispensable nature of mobile phones in today’s world and the distress caused by their loss. He affirmed the district police’s dedication to actively pursuing the recovery of such devices. The event was attended by numerous police officers, including DSPs Neeraj Singh and Kosar Ali, SDPOs Jitwahan, Sumit Prasad, and Dhananjay Ram, along with Inspector Mantu Kumar and Muffasil Police Station in-charge Shyam Kishore Mahto, underscoring the collaborative effort behind this successful recovery.
