Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, a prominent figure in Pakistan, has made a deeply concerning public statement admitting to terror operations launched from Pakistan into India. In a widely shared video, Haq asserted, ‘we hit India from Red Fort to the forests of Kashmir,’ directly linking Pakistan to recent deadly incidents. These alleged attacks include the November 10 car bombing near the Red Fort in Delhi, which claimed 14 lives, and a brutal shooting in April at Jammu and Kashmir’s Baisaran Valley that left 26 tourists dead. Haq’s inflammatory remarks suggested a retaliatory strategy, stating, ‘if you keep bleeding Balochistan, we’ll hit India from Red Fort to the forests of Kashmir. By the grace of Allah, we’ve done it.’ He even alluded to the ongoing confusion over casualty figures in the Delhi attack, implying meticulous planning and execution by Pakistan-backed elements. India has repeatedly dismissed Pakistan’s narrative concerning Balochistan, viewing it as an attempt to deflect from its own domestic challenges and its role in sponsoring terrorism. The investigation into the Red Fort bombing has pointed towards a sophisticated terror network with ties to Pakistan-based militant groups, involving individuals with professional backgrounds allegedly facilitating explosive procurement. These admissions further complicate India-Pakistan relations and raise serious questions about regional security.
