Raipur, December 11, 2025 / The State Government has formed an advisory committee for the Raipur Literary Festival scheduled to take place next year from December 23 at Nawa Raipur. The committee consists of nine members. The members include Mr. Anant Vijay, Dr. Suhil Tripathi, Mr. Satish Kumar Panda, Mrs. Jaimati Kashyap, Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Sinha, Mr. Shansak Sharma, Mr. Pankaj Kumar Jhā, and Mr. Vivek Acharya. The committee will offer specialized advice to ensure the successful and effective organization of the festival. It will also assist the organizers with the selection of writers and the topics for the event. Dr. Ravi Mittal, Commissioner of the Public Relations Directorate, will be the secretary member of the committee. Notably, following the start of the new year, the Raipur Literary Festival will be held at Nawa Raipur from January 23 to 25, and it will feature more than 100 distinguished writers from across the country. The idea for this event was conceived by Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai during the state’s silver jubilee. Based on CM Sai’s vision, a comprehensive plan for the festival was prepared in just two months. The three-day festival will be conducted near the Tribal Museum on January 23, 24, and 25, 2026. The festival will comprise a total of 11 sessions, including 5 parallel sessions, 4 collective sessions, and 3 dialog sessions, where writers and participants will engage in direct dialogue and discussion.
