On 22 December, a Janadesh Parab will be organized in Janjgir to celebrate the two-year anniversary of the Chhattisgarh government. The event will showcase the achievements of the past two years and provide information about decisions taken for the integrated development of the state. Beneficiaries of welfare schemes will also receive benefits. On this occasion, a large assembly will be conducted in the Police Lines of Janjgir, addressed by Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. J. P. Nadda. The Chief Minister, Shri Vishnu Deva Sai, will preside over the event. Renowned folk artist and Padma Shri Shri Anuj Sharma, along with other performers, will present cultural programmes. Additionally, a development exhibition based on the achievements of various departments over the last two years will be organized at the venue. Stalls representing Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board, Agriculture Department, School Education, Women & Child Development, Water Resources, Fisheries, and Cooperative Department, among others, will be set up. The programmes will be chaired by Minister for Central State, Shri Tokhan Sahu, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Vijay Sharma, and will feature distinguished guests including Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Neta, Food Minister Shri Dayaladas Baghel, Forest Minister Shri Kedar Kashap, Industry Minister Shri Lakhna Lal Devangn, Health Minister Shri Syam Bihari Jaiswal, Finance Minister Shri O. P. Chaudhary, Women & Child Development Minister Shri Ms. Laxmi Rajwaade, Revenue Minister Shri Tankaram Verma, School Education Minister Shri Gajendra Yadav, SC/ST Development Minister Shri Guru Khushwant Saheb, Culture & Tourism Minister Shri Rajesh Agrawal, Lok Sabha Member Shri Ms. Kamlesh Jangde, and MLA Shri Byas Kashap as distinguished guests. The exhibition will focus on the overall development of the state. Attendees will witness a continuous service and development showcase of the government’s two years, with information on the PM Surya Ghar scheme and other programmes. Farmers will be informed about the Kisan Samman Nidhi, beneficiary-centric schemes and modern agricultural technologies to understand direct benefits and processes. Digital and innovative education, ICT labs, smart classrooms and PM and Vidya schemes will highlight the concept of “Smart School–empowered students–bright future”, showcasing quality and tech-based education. Furthermore, the exhibition will display women’s empowerment, mother reverence, nutritional campaigns, child welfare programmes, irrigation schemes, water management, fish production, employment, self-employment schemes, and a model explaining the whole process of purchasing rice at subsidised prices. Stalls by various departments will also provide information on schemes.
