Bihar Minister Dilip Jaiswal joined a significant seminar in Patna on Thursday, organized by the Social Justice Struggle Front and National Nai Mahasabha, to discuss NDA’s contributions to extremely backward class development—just before Bharat Ratna Karpoori Thakur’s jayanti.
In his keynote, Jaiswal vividly recalled Thakur’s hallmark traits: unpretentious living, firm principles, and tireless public welfare. ‘Thakur’s life was a testament to social justice, fully surrendered to the upliftment of the forsaken,’ he stated. His drive for societal harmony inspires ongoing reforms.
The minister detailed Thakur’s remarkable detachment from material wealth. Despite top posts including two terms as CM, Thakur left this world without assets. Jaiswal contrasted this with prevalent self-serving politics, positioning Thakur’s approach as a model for prioritizing the marginalized.
Thakur’s ethical compass never wavered; power remained a tool for service, not family aggrandizement. His foundational push for backward class reservations transformed access to opportunities.
Conveying Basant Panchami blessings, Jaiswal sought Maa Saraswati’s benevolence for knowledge dissemination. NDA’s dedication to scholastic advancement and value infusion was reaffirmed. ‘May wisdom light our paths and foster virtuous living,’ he invoked.
Thakur’s narrative endures as Bihar’s moral compass, aligning seamlessly with NDA’s inclusive governance blueprint for a just future.
