Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha immersed himself in the cultural extravaganza of Kiul Mahotsav in Lakhisarai district this Saturday, positioning the event as a cornerstone for upholding Bihar’s traditions, folk genius, and local ethos.
Speaking to a packed venue, Sinha celebrated the festival’s brilliant execution and its window into the district’s cultural depth. ‘This mahotsav is a mighty instrument for conserving our legacy, honoring artists, and amplifying our identity. It fuels cultural promotion alongside tourism and socioeconomic upliftment,’ he noted, saluting Lakhisarai’s storied heritage.
He rallied support for PM Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on the 25th: ‘Tune in, absorb the wisdom, renew your pledge for India’s transformation, and become a partner in nation-building.’
Sinha fondly recalled the ‘Litti with Majhi’ tasting, a nod to Bihar’s iconic street food. ‘Indulging in litti-chokha reconnects us to our roots—traditions, flavors, and pride that define us.’
On CM Nitish Kumar’s Vaishali engagements during Samriddhi Yatra, Sinha highlighted project inspections, comprehensive reviews, launches worth Rs 152 crore combined, and direct dialogues on public welfare. The government’s double-engine approach guarantees holistic, rapid progress across Bihar.
