Empowering dreams amid challenges, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated the state-of-the-art CM Rise School at Shahganj in Raisen district. Drawing from his journey—born in Jait, educated in a simple Narmada-side government school—Chouhan highlighted how diligence opened doors. Yet, he lamented the plight of poor families denied private education due to costs.
Conceived on a hospital bed during COVID, the CM Rise initiative emerged after expert deliberations. Chouhan detailed the school’s superior infrastructure: versatile halls, precision labs for core sciences, rich libraries, autonomous staff areas, efficient meal kitchens, eco-conservation features like rainwater systems and solar panels, smart learning environments, recreational sports zones with tracks and fields, concrete pathways, ample parking, power backups, and premium lab setups—eclipsing many elite private schools.
His resolve is clear: no child’s potential should fade for lack of funds. Directing the team for 100% success rates, Chouhan extended welfare promises including mobility aids for disabled citizens, vendor scheme support, and artisan schemes under PM Vishwakarma.
These schools are Madhya Pradesh’s beacon of opportunity, blending Chouhan’s personal ethos with policy innovation. By democratizing top-tier education, the state is cultivating a generation equipped to excel globally.
