Raipur February 3, 2026/On the instructions of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudeo Sai, significant relief has been provided in the paddy procurement process by giving top priority to the interests of farmers in the state. Under this, farmers of three categories have been granted permission to sell paddy for two additional days – February 05 and 06, 2026.
As per the instructions of Chief Minister Mr. Vishnudeo Sai, three types of farmers will be able to sell paddy during this extended period— farmers who applied for tokens after January 10, 2026, but whose verification could not be completed. Farmers who applied after January 10, 2026, and were found to have paddy after verification. Farmers who received tokens on January 28, 2026, January 29, 2026, and January 30, 2026, but could not sell their paddy on the scheduled date for any reason.
Instructions have also been given to the concerned officials to ensure adequate arrangements for gunny bags and porters so that farmers do not face any inconvenience.
This decision of the state government reflects the government’s sensitivity towards farmers and its commitment to the safe and smooth sale of their produce.
